Kokedama Workshop in Spring Commons

Kokedama is a moss ball, a Japanese art form of living sculpture suspended in air. Similar to bonsai, the roots of the Kokedama are contained in a small space. It’s form and preparation represents the Japanese Wabi Sabi aesthetic principles, defined as one of beauty that is imperfect and permanent and incomplete.

Cathrina Susoev (the Kokedama Mama) will guide participants through the creative process using a variety of beautiful plants. Visit her website to pre-register or stop by Lost Coast Found 225 E Redwood Ave (open Wed-Sat 11:30-5:00).

It Begins with a calming mind-body centered movement meditation (Cathrina is also a certified Breema instructor).
